A curated program of lectures and exhibitions held at the Ismaili Centre Toronto, Aga Khan Park & Aga Khan Museum as part of the Nuit Blanche, Toronto’s free all-night contemporary art event. Programs included: Houses of Wisdom: Buildings, Books and Archives in the Digital Age, talks by Sandra Singh (Chief Librarian, Vancouver Public Library) and Aziza Chaouni (Associate Professor, University of Toronto) on how libraries in the East and the West may serve as places of creative engagement in the age of social media; CharBagh: A Sensory Garden, Faisal Anwar’s real-time interactive digital garden; and, Sparks, Virginia Melnyk’ s sculptural installation.
